Friends of Spring Branch Memorial Library's Annual Plant and Book Festival

Friends of Spring Branch Memorial Library will host its annual Plant and Book Festival, featuring a wide selection of books and plants, coupons for area businesses and children’s activities on March 24 and 25.

Gently used children’s books and adult fiction and nonfiction, from cooking and history to religion and the classics, will be available at bargain prices, while there are great deals on bedding, flowering, exotic, indoor and outdoor plants and hanging baskets.

Friends of Spring Branch Memorial Library's Annual Plant and Book FestivalA silent auction features rare books, including a signed copy of William Sterling’s “Trails and Trials of a Texas Ranger,” and a beautiful, first edition copy of Larry McMurtry’s “Custer.” Additionally, there will be a sale of coupons and gift certificates donated by local businesses and restaurants.

H-E-B’s Buddy will make an appearance and Sweet Tomatoes is providing refreshments.

Proceeds from the event go toward additional materials, such as e-books and children’s books, summer programming and beautification of the library, which is part of the Harris County Library System.
