Discovery Green kicks off its winter season with Frostival, an annual park-wide celebration featuring ice carving by Reverend Butter and DLG Ice Factory, ice photo opps, interactive ice sculptures and more. 

Frostival also marks the opening of GUST: Celebrating a Decade of Discovery, a temporary public art installation by Mexico City-based design studio Cocolab. This interactive installation, which consists of nearly 2,000 custom-made pinwheels installed under Discovery Green’s Brown Foundation Promenade, invites visitors to “become the wind” at blowing stations. At night, the work is illuminated by patterns of light that respond in real time to the changing direction of the breeze. GUST will remain on
