Full Moon Fest

The West University Place Parks & Recreation Department will host its fifth annual Full Moon Fest celebration at the Colonial Park Pavilion. Join Friday, Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. for an evening of pumpkin decorating, costume contests, face painting and more. The costume contest will be for different age groups, so make sure the whole family comes in their spookiest attire.

If you want to participate in the costume contest, sign up by Oct. 16. Register here or in person at the Recreation Center. (To register online, please note you will need an online account. If you don't have an online account you can set one up but typically takes 1-3 business days for approval, so plan accordingly.) The activity number to sign up for the event is 307812. Enter that number in the activity search box and it will show you the different categories you can select. The categories are ages 0-2, 3-5, 6-9, 10+, and a group contest. 

Registration is complimentary and will close on Oct. 16. Participants will not be able to sign up the day of the event. Spots are limited, so sign up now so you don’t miss out!

Stay after the event and enjoy the featured movie Despicable Me (Rated PG) as part of the Movies in the Park series; showing begins at 7 p.m.
