'H is for Harvey' Book Signing

Julie Beasley wrote her first children's book to show kids how people helped during Harvey.

On Aug. 25, the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Harvey, author Julie Beasley and Eduardo Martinez will sign children's book H is for Harvey at the flagship Gallery Furniture store off Highway 45. Gallery Furniture’s Jim McIngvale sheltered flood victims during Harvey in his stores and donated money and gift cards to those in need.

At the book signing event, local bakery El Bolillo, another business that helped during Harvey, will provide complimentary cookies.
