Harvesting Hope and Help

Harvesting Hope and Help

Congregation Beth Israel is happy to announce their newest committee, ABIDE, which stands for Advocacy at Beth Israel for Diversity through Education. They will host their kickoff event in honor of Sukkot, on Oct. 4, 2017, at 5:30 p.m. During this event, entitled Harvesting Hope and Help, Congregation Beth Israel will host two other community organizations, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, and the River Oaks Islamic Center. The three organizations will join together for dinner, featuring local area food trucks, and will join in the Beth Israel Sukkah Courtyard to discuss the refugee crisis and how together, we might begin to work to affect change.

Harvesting Hope and Help is a community event. All are welcome to attend, and join in this important conversation.
