HITS Theatre Presents 'Anything Goes' at Miller Theatre
HITS Theatre presents “Anything Goes,” with music and lyrics by Cole Porter, March 28-April 6. The 1934 musical, which won the 2011 Tony Award for best revival, is known for madcap antics and a big tap dancing number to its title song. Aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London, stowaway Billy Crocker is in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy #13, “Moonface” Martin, aid Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart. This production stars Houston-area students 7th-12th grades.
