Holiday in the Park
Sources from the North Pole are predicting Santa's official arrival in Bellaire at the Holiday in the Park celebration. Santa's elves will be converting Bellaire Town Square into a winter wonderland. Santa will make his official appearance aboard a siren blaring fire truck then he will patiently listen to holiday wishes from children at the gazebo. Pictures with Santa will be available, packages for purchase provided by Natural Expressions. Personal cameras are welcome. Visits with Santa are free.
Santa will bring with him a variety of free activities which include holiday music from local schools, official holiday tree lighting, and rides aboard a kiddie train, holiday crafts, pony rides, moon bounces and a petting zoo. The highlight of Santa's visit will be the 40,000 pounds of snow predicted to fall in the park, complete with two snow slides to enjoy! Storytelling will be held in Bellaire City Hall. A variety of different foods will be available for purchase provided by local restaurants and civic groups. These activities are provided to the public through the generous donations of our sponsors Russell & Smith Ford-Honda-Mazda, Pieper-Houston Electric, AARK Engineering Inc., Village Plumbing and Ohms Electrical Services.
