Houston Arboretum Arbor Day 2015 Celebration

This year’s event is packed with nature festivities and all things tree. You can be an ambassador for trees and help us End Treelessness by stopping by, taking home a free native tree seedling, and participating in some of our nature themed activities.

Arbor Day Activities and Crafts:

• Johnny Appleseed will hand out acorns
• HANC the Owl will be giving away tree seedlings
• Make designer recycled paper hats
• Discounted membership drive with free gifts
• Nature Playground with fun children’s areas

Join us on Arbor Day for our Native Plant Sale and turn your yard into a wildlife sanctuary. Native plants are beautiful and require less maintenance. They also attract local wildlife and provide them with food, shelter, and a place to nest. 

Come check out an amazing array of birds in flight at our Arbor Day Bird Safari! Wildlife Revealed will be bringing their spectacular birds of prey for a flight show you won't forget.
