Houston Folklore and Music Society Holiday Benefit

Come join us as we celebrate the Season of Giving. We have a variety of performers dusting off their Holiday Songs to share in the Spirit! Houston Folklore and Music Society has been around since 1951 and Second Saturday concerts began in 1985. Since that time, 100 percent of concert proceeds have gone to the artists!

We are a 100 percent volunteer organization. We would be honored if you could attend this special event and help support the continued preservation of the folk music tradition throughout the Houston metro area! Your ticket purchase or donation will help us continue to bring in folk musicians from around the US and assist us in our goal to pass on the tradition to younger audiences and musicians. If you are unable to attend, please consider making a donation here.

Second Saturday Concert is presented by the Houston Folklore and Music Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of folklore and folk music. Tickets will be sold at the door. Adults: $18, Senior Citizens (65+): $14, and Children (under 12): FREE (must be accompanied by an adult). Hot and cold drinks, as well as light snacks are available. Concerts are held at 7:30p in the West University Community Building.
