On May 17 and May 18, Houston Grand Opera presents free performances of Puccini’s enchanting La bohème, which tells the dramatic, heartbreaking story of a group of young, Parisian artists living life to the fullest during the bohemian revolution in the Latin Quarter of Paris. This beloved production, to be held at Miller Outdoor Theatre, features current and former artists from the HGO Studio, the company’s prestigious young artist training program. With soaring music that many audience members will recognize, this famous tale is not to be missed. La bohème is considered appropriate for all ages.
