Houston Hospice’s 22nd Butterfly Luncheon
Houston Hospice’s 22nd Butterfly Luncheon is taking place at the Junior League of Houston on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Featured speakers include the Hampton family, who experienced an abundance of compassion while their beloved son and brother, Jake, was in the care of the Butterfly Team. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit Houston Hospice and its Butterfly Program for pediatric hospice patients and their families.
Luncheon chairs include Sally Rice, Catherine Randall, Katherine Lucke, and Robin Burke.
As one of the specialized, compassionate care services offered by Houston Hospice, The Butterfly Program is dedicated to the needs of children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Individualized care, education, advocacy, resources, and a dedicated hospice team are provided on a 24/7 basis. Additionally, the Butterfly Team consists of a pediatric physician, registered nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, bereavement counselors and volunteers.
