Houston Symphony: Living Room Series with Joan DerHovsepian

The Houston Symphony’s Living Room Series takes place each Friday night at 8 p.m. Performances conclude with Q&A from audience members.

Joan DerHovsepian, associate principal viola, is joined by her husband, Erik Gronfor, a double bassist with the Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, and their daughter Clara, a violinist.

Before the concert: Join  at 7:30 p.m. for a live Prelude discussion with Musical Ambassador Carlos Andrés Botero! A representative from Houston Public Library will join the discussion, sharing Joan DerHovsepian’s reading list for books to keep the family entertained during social distancing.

On the day of the concert, you will receive an email with a link to the video. If you buy tickets on Friday afternoon, the link will be in your purchase confirmation email. The email will also have the Zoom link and password for viewing the pre-concert Prelude.
