Inspired by Degas: Arts Showcase

This program kicks off with a performance of an Edgar Degas–inspired selection of French songs by the AFA’s Houston Girls Chorus in Cullinan Hall.

Following the choral recital, you have the option to purchase a ticket to continue up into the exhibition Degas: A New Vision. Ballerinas from the Houston Ballet Academy bring the paintings of Degas’s dancers to life as the dancers adopt the iconic poses of his models throughout the galleries! The vocalists of AFA’s Houston Girls Chorus return to serenade you with more music of the era as you travel through Degas’s works.
