Kentucky Derby Day at Sam Houston Race Park

Wear your finest hat and watch the Kentucky Derby Card from Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY and on live Quarter Horse racing at Sam Houston Race Park! Theree will be a Derby Hat Contest. 

Advanced Wagering on Saturday's Churchill Downs Card will be available all day on Friday, May 4. Early Bird Wagering will be available from the Valet Circle at the South Entrance of the Grandstand on both Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 from 7:30 a.m. until Gates Open. 

First race from Churchill Downs is at 9:30 a.m.! The 144th Kentucky Derby is race 12 at 5:50 p.m.
