A League of Their Own Film Screening at MFAH

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of classic baseball movie A League of Their Own (1992). Geena Davis and Tom Hanks star alongside Lori Petty, Madonna, and Rosie O'Donnell in the comedy classic directed by Penny Marshall. 

Author and film professor Grant Wiedenfeld will introduce the film. His new book, Hollywood Sports Movies and the American Dream, includes a chapter about it, and will be available for sale and signing after the movie.
