Malibu Barbie Cafe Houston: Pop-Up Experience
Barbie fans won't want to miss the Malibu Barbie Cafe pop-up experience, Aug. 16 through mid-October. The family-friendly pop-up restaurant and roller rink is located at Junction HTX and inspired by the groovy beachside energy of 1970s Malibu, when Malibu Barbie was first introduced to the world. The fast-casual menu, created by Master Chef finalist and Chopped Champion Chef Becky Brown, includes all day friendly fare, delicious desserts, and a variety of drinks.
The pop-up will also come complete with exclusive merchandise and a variety of interactive activities. Each roller skate rental ($1) will be donated back to the Cafe’s charity partner, Girls INC.
Special events, like Cupcake Decorating Classes, Paint Parties, and 21+ Skate Nights, will also be offered.
Tickets for the restaurant are $25 each and includes food + merch credit.
In collaboration with Mattel, the project is spearheaded by Bucket Listers President of Experiences, Derek Berry (the mastermind also behind pop-up phenomena Saved by the Max, The Golden Girls Kitchen, Family Guy Experience, and Blockbuster experience).
