MetroNational and Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation Launch Back-to-School Book + Supply Drive

MetroNational and the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation (the Foundation) are kicking off the new school year with the Back to School Book + Supply Drive. Throughout the month of August, Memorial City and the Foundation will be collecting new or gently used children’s books and school supplies of Spring Branch ISD’s students in need. Recommended school supplies include dry erase markers, washable markers, pocket folders, spiral-bound notebooks, pencils, blunt fiskar scissors, glue sticks, facial tissue and Post-It Notes.

Donations will be collected at designated sites across Memorial City, including office building lobbies, The Fountains at Memorial City, and Memorial City Central at The Mall. In addition to book and supply drive, Memorial City will also host special readings from local children’s authors every Tuesday morning in August.
