Mikhail Bashakov needs no special introduction for the Russian guitar poetry enthusiasts. His song-writing artistry is well-known beyond Russia and his native land on the outskirts of the magnificent Neva river. He is a frequent traveling performer in Europe, Canada, and the United States.

About this concert program, Mikhail says that he has combined new works written during the past pandemic years as well as incorporated some older material. He claims that all presented works are meaningfully connected with each other making the whole concert sound like one piece.
