Naturally Wild Families: Gingerbread House for the Birds

The Houston Arboretum will host family friendly activities throughout December for safe and fun holiday activites.

Celebrate National Gingerbread House Day! Senior Naturalist, Tiffany Ritter, leads this interactive live Zoom class where we’ll assemble a house made of recycled cardboard “gingerbread” and decorate it with all the natural fixin’s to create a beautiful house for your backyard birds.

An Arboretum-at-Home packet will contain:
Cardboard pieces for houses
Nuts, seeds, and berries for decoration
Peanut Butter or suet (Nut-free supplies available upon request)

Arboretum-At-Home packet can be picked up during regular Nature Center hours Dec. 10 & 11. A link to register for live presentation on Zoom will be included in your receipt after purchase.
