Navroz Spring Festival 2025

The Ismaili Council for the Southwestern USA presents the Navroz Spring Festival at Buffalo Bayou Park. “Navroz” or “Nowruz” translates to "new day" in Persian. It marks the beginning of spring and is celebrated by various cultures, notably in Iran, Central Asia, the Middle East, and by some communities in India and Pakistan.  It's a day of immense cultural significance, symbolizing renewal, rebirth and a new future. Navroz embodies cultural heritage, unity, and the celebration of nature's renewal. The Navroz Spring Festival includes cultural performances, food trucks, family-friendly activities, and more. Bring a picnic blanket or lawn chair, wear festive attire, and enjoy the day with family and friends. Pets are welcome.
