Nigerian Cultural Parade and Festival
The vibrant Nigerian community is ready to shake and bring their over-the-top fashion sense to Downtown Houston. The 3rd Annual Nigeria Cultural Parade & Festival is underway in a MAJOR way on Saturday, September 28th at Root Memorial Square, 1400 Clay Street starting at 9:00 am until Downtown Houston is painted green and white!
Wazobia African Market, the largest African Store in the state of Texas will be bringing a taste of home! Spectators will enjoy cultural exports of Nigeria, the Jollof rice, and peppered suya will be making it’s rounds in the park. Rain or shine, it is about to be an epic street-wide celebration. “Naija no dey carry last!”
