NOA TISHBY Uncomfortable Conversations with a Jew

One of the most recognizable figures in the world today, Israeli activist Noa Tishby brings us her latest venture that she and former professional football player Emmanuel Acho co-wrote. The book explores, through frank and sometimes uncomfortable conversation, what it means to be Jewish.

The event is Opening Night for the 2024 Ann and Stephen Kaufman Jewish Book & Arts Festival, which takes place Nov. 3-16, 2024. See the full lineup here

Presented by the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC, the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation Beth Yeshurun, and Congregation Emanu El. In conversation with Stuart Dow.

Noa Tishby is a two-time New York Times bestselling author and Israel’s former Special Envoy for Combating Antisemitism and Delegitimization. In her first book, Tishby introduced readers to the State of Israel and its complicated history. In her latest work, she and the former professional football player and sports analyst Emmanuel Acho delve into what it means to be Jewish today. A Tel Aviv native, Tishby has been a leader in pro-Israel activism for over a decade and is among the best known pro-Israel figures on social media.
