Opera in the Heights' Glitter and Be Gay

On Saturday, March 24, Opera in the Heights will honor world-renowned operatic soprano, Ana María Martínez, for her artistry on the operatic stage while playing an active role in building Houston’s vibrant opera community. The Bravissimo theme, Glitter and Be Gay, pays homage to the celebrated American composer Leonard Bernstein, in his centennial year. The dazzling evening sheds light on the important ways in which Opera in the Heights serves its audiences while highlighting the vibrancy of the Heights community.
