PATRONS for Bellaire Parks' 15th Annual Wine and Tapas Gala

On March 22, 2025, PATRONS for Bellaire Parks will celebrate the 15th Annual Wine and Tapas Gala.  The theme of the night is “Magic in the Park,” and the Bellaire Civic Center will be transformed into a fantastical magician’s playground with lively entertainment including a silent auction, a wine pull, liquor toss game, and of course a magic show. Delicious food from many favorite local establishments will be served tapas-style – everyone’s favorite because you get to sample so many different wonderful dishes. 

Magic in the Park will honor beloved local musician Ezra Charles, a master whose talent brings magic to every note. During his decades-long career, Ezra Charles has been honored with seven Houston Press Awards for Best Keyboards, a Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Antonio Blues Society, as well as appearances in the International Blues Competition in Memphis. Mr. Charles displayed his strong commitment to the Bellaire community he calls home when he leveraged his industry connections to bring high-caliber bands to our stage during the Trolley Tunes Music Series—opportunities that would have otherwise been out of reach. Through Ezra's dedication and passion for music, he has enriched our community and created lasting memories for the people of Bellaire.

The event is dedicated to raising funds for a renewal of Evergreen Park, a much loved local site that will be reimagined with a world-class accessible playground where generations of Bellaire families of all abilities will be able to play, grow, and enjoy the outdoors together.
