Poder Hispano

Poder Hispano, a Hispanic Heritage Month event celebrating Houston’s diverse and growing Latino community, will be held at the Houston Botanic Garden on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The full-day, family-friendly event, which is open to the public, will feature kids’ cultural arts activities, a variety of music and folkloric presentations, foods from several Latin American countries, and shopping with local Latino-owned businesses.

Schedule: 

10 a.m. – Eat, shop, dance, and explore
11:05 a.m. – Sponsor introductions
11:15 a.m. – Folkloric dance
12:15 p.m. – Artistic presentation
12:30 p.m. – Yoga on the lawn
1:45 p.m. – Closing ceremony

Event sponsors include H-E-B, Geico Insurance, Telemundo Houston, HTX Art Bus, Digi Clicks LLC, Evangeline Event Designs, and Meraki Wayuu.
