The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs' 17th Annual YOY Scholarship Awards Banquet will take place on May 4, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. held at the River Oaks Country Club. This evening will be a celebration of the participants in the YOY Scholarship Program and award scholarships to the overall competition winners. The Youth of the Year Scholarship Program encourages academic success for young people between 12-18 years old, while providing them with scholarship funds upon completing high school.

Frances Howard and Mary Sage are leading this event to make it a grand success. This year, the esteemed Sidney Faust has been selected as the 2023 YOY Honoree, to recognize her generous support, and long-time commitment to The Salvation Army Youth of the Year Scholarship Program, the Advisory Board and the Women’s Auxiliary,  as well as countless important community organizations.
