A Scheherazade Thanksgiving Performed by the Houston Symphony
Andrés will conduct Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade. Inspired by 1001 Nights, this performance will take listeners along the voyages of Sinbad and will conclude with a festival at Baghdad. James Ehnes, Grammy Award-winning violinist, will present his interpretation of Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1.
