Grab a blanket and pack a picnic to enjoy a winter-themed movie every Thursday

HOUSTON Discovery Green invites you to get outside this winter and cozy up with a fun, free and family-friendly movie during Bank of America’s Screen on the Green every Thursday in December at 7 p.m.

Movie titles were picked from Houstonian suggestions on social media and include: A Christmas Carol, A Christmas Story, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elf and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

“Bank of America is committed to supporting the parks and community spaces that make our city beautiful and bring people from all walks of life together. Screen on the Green is a wonderful way for us to engage with our community and provides an opportunity for friends and families to come together to enjoy the outdoors and connect over movie night,” said Hong Ogle, president, Bank of America Houston.

Guests are invited to bring chairs, blankets, and a picnic from home. Glass containers and outside alcoholic drinks are not allowed. Food and beverages, including beer and wine, will also be available for pick up from The Lake House or The Grove.

Bank of America’s Screen on the Green is the perfect way to take a break and enjoy what the season is all about: family, friends and being together.
