A Screening of "93 Days"
Join The Health Museum for a screening of "93 Days: A Nation's Story on Survival and Sacrifice," a 2016 Nigerian drama thriller. This movie tells the story of the 2014 Ebola outbreak in Nigeria and the successful containment by health workers in Lagos.
Starring Bimbo Akintola, Danny Glover, and Bimbo Manuel, the film focuses on the work and bravery of the late Dr. Ameyo Stella Adadevoh, the doctor who placed Patrick Sawyer, patient zero, in quarantine despite a request to release him from the Liberian ambassador.
With support from the Lagos State Government, Federal Government, the World Health Organization, Médecins Sans Frontieres, Dr. Adadevoh and her colleagues prevented a catastrophic international contagion.
This movie is rated R, minors under the age of 17 require accompaniment by a parent or guardian.
