Society for the Performing Art's 2016 Gala

Co-Chairs Katherine and Paul Murphy and Sharon and Tim Taylor, along with Honorary Chairs Linda and Willie Chiang, are planning the bash of the season: The SPA Gala. The Corinthian will be transformed into a lively and exotic setting at "Shimmering Sands - A Night at the Oasis." Festivities will include a gourmet dinner, exclusive silent and live auctions and fantastic entertainment by Moodafaruka and Skyrocket! Proceeds from the Gala will further SPA’s mission in presenting the world’s best artists and performances to Houston audiences and in expanding award-winning Education and Community Engagement programs, which reach over 70,000 students and educators each year.
