Stratford Playhouse Presents "Me and My Girl"
Stratford Playhouse, the 2016 Tommy Tune Award-winning high school for Best Musical, presents “Me and My Girl.” A British musical set in the 1930s, "Me and My Girl" combines memorable music with comic writing to create an evening of pure fun! The musical tells the story of an unapologetically, unrefined cockney gentleman named Bill Snibson, who discovers he is the long-lost fourteenth Earl of Hareford. Non-stop tomfoolery unfolds as Bill attempts to prove himself worthy of his inheritance. As he and his fishmonger girlfriend Sally wrangle for his aristocratic family’s approval, every attempt to groom Bill for nobility results in riotous chaos.
Directed by CeCe Prudhomme, this Tony award-winning musical features a host of quirky characters, witty one-liners, riveting dance numbers, innovative set design and toe-tapping songs that make for an unforgettable evening for the entire family.
