Taking Yoga to the Roof for Peach Outreach’s 3rd Annual “it’s all about U”

On Sunday, Sept. 20, more than 400 Houstonians will unite for the third annual “it’s all about U” rooftop yoga event to benefit Peach Outreach, a Houston –based nonprofit that raises awareness about uterine and other gynecologic cancers, and funds for research. Last year’s event raised almost $15,000 and had 400 people doing down dogs on the roof!

At the event, participants will be guided through a one-hour Baptiste yoga class taught by YogaOne Studio’s co-owner Roger Rippy, Big Power Yoga’s co-owner Nancy Sheridan Perry, and celebrity yogi Bethany Lyons of Lyon’s Den Power Yoga in New York City. There will be door prizes from local boutiques, yoga studios and other athletic goods and services providers, and also gift bags for all participants. Some local vendors will be present so yogis may shop before and after the yoga while they also treat themselves to a mini-massage from Texas Thai Sports massage and food from Tila’s and Friohana food trucks.
