Tanabata Japanese Star Festival

The Children's Museum will be celebrating the reunion of Japanese star-crossed lovers, Vega and Altair. In Japanese culture these two lovers are separated by the Milky Way and they are only allowed to meet once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month. This reunion is the celebration of the Tanabata!
