Theta Design Weekend 2017
Theta Design Weekend, a three-day home décor shopping weekend and interior design showcase, will take place at George R. Brown Convention Center, Dec. 1-3.
Exhibitors will showcase a broad range of offerings, including art, architecture, landscaping, décor, lighting, and textiles along with art walks, designer-led tours, special guest speaker luncheons, and additional events. There are also special programs and speakers, including a luncheon with Mark Sikes on Friday, a panel on textiles on Friday, a luncheon with McALPINE Group on Saturday, a panel on architectural design and interiors on Saturday, a mother/daughter brunch on Sun., a panel of young Houston designers on Sunday, a pop-up shop by Blue Willow Bookshop throughout the weekend, and more.
Theta Design Weekend 2017 will fund 10 charitable causes: Texas Children’s Cancer Center, Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Child Advocates, the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, Yellowstone Academy, The Jung Center, WorkFaith Connection, TIRR Foundation, Crime Stoppers of Houston, and River Oaks Chamber Orchestra.
