 Third Annual Black Tie Boxing

The Throw Down Society hosts the third annual Black Tie Boxing event, in partnership with Savarese Fight Fit and Berg Hospitality’s B&B Butchers & Restaurant, to support Hope Rising and Houston20. This year’s fight night will bring together amateur boxers, regulated by USA Boxing and trained and mentored by professionals like former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Lou Savarese at Savarese Fight Fit, to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. Since Houston is the number one hub for human trafficking in the United States, Throw Down Society hopes to raise awareness and funds for the selected organizations to fight against child and youth sex trafficking.

The evening will consist of eight fights, and feature local businessmen such as energy commodity traders, brokers, investment bankers and executives. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner courtesy of B&B Butchers & Restaurant and an exciting live auction will take place during the fights. Unique to the auction items will be custom pieces by local Houston artists, who worked with the boxers to create artwork inspired by their journey and graphically express what it means to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves.
Register to attend the event here.
