Trafigura Run for the House benefiting Ronald McDonald House Houston
Ronald McDonald House Houston (RMH Houston) will host its annual Trafigura Run for the House on the morning of Saturday, Dec. 1 at Sam Houston Park in downtown Houston. The USATF-certified 5K/10K race welcomes competitive runners, families, and dogs, for a morning of fun, family-friendly activity.
After the run, the fun continues at the Mogie After-Party where attendees can enjoy free, family-friendly activities, including games, inflatables, food, and more. At the after-party, attendees can take photos with RMH Houston’s key comfort ambassador, Mogie, as he makes his final appearance before retiring. Mogie will celebrate his 10th birthday (70th in dog years) on Nov. 30, the day before the run. Mogie has brought countless joy and comfort to RMH Houston families over the past decade, and RMH Houston invites all Houstonian’s to come help celebrate and say a final farewell to their most beloved pooch.
Those who wish to support RMH Houston, but are unable to make it to the race, are encouraged to register for the Trafigura Run for the House Virtual Run, which allows runners to participate in the race from any location worldwide.
All proceeds will benefit RMH Houston children and their families, with the Trafigura Foundation generously matching dollar for dollar up to $300,000. See more information here.
