United Way of Greater Houston "Rappel for a Reason"

Thrill-seeking supporters of United Way of Greater Houston will rappel down the side of the 26-story DoubleTree Hotel Galleria on Nov. 8 in a show of support for the organization’s work to help struggling neighbors go from surviving to thriving. To join the fun in this year’s “Rappel for a Reason,” participants must raise at least $1,500 to guarantee a spot on the side of the building, all to benefit United Way’s commitment to helping more of our neighbors who struggle achieve financial stability. Those who want to support the cause, but don’t want to make the 26-story rappelling descent can join the fun at an “on the ground” party with music and food.
