Willow Waterhole MusicFest 2022

Willow Waterhole MusicFest 2022

The fall edition of the bi-annual MusicFest takes place at the Willow Waterhole Greenway, Sat., Oct. 29, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The event will blend the best of Halloween family fun and live music. Bring your favorite costume - for you and your dog! - for the Mortals and Dogs costume parade, while the kids enjoy the inflatable haunted house, 10 spooky Halloween games and Trunk or Treat.

Music fans will be treated to eight bands representing a variety of music styles headlined by the Houston funk/jazz powerhouse Keith Vivens & TKoH. Bring chairs or blankets to sit, relax, and enjoy the music.

In addition to great musical performances, the free MusicFest offers some of Houston’s best food trucks serving an eclectic range of foods, including Cajun, Jamaican, and gourmet burgers. Booths featuring a diverse collection of non-profit organizations will also be on hand to provide information on activities and services available in the community.

The MusicFest is produced by the Willow Waterhole Greenway Conservancy (WWGC), the non-profit, community-based steward for the Willow Waterhole Greenway, part of Project Brays, a comprehensive program combining the expertise of the Harris County Flood Control District and the US Army Corps of Engineers. The project combines flood control through a $75 million series of detention lakes and the development of the 291-acre park into a naturally beautiful greenspace.

The festival includes eight professional bands playing everything from R&B, blues, Texas country, funk, jazz, classic rock and Latin.
