Women’s Leadership Series featuring Juju Chang, Ruth Simmons, and Helen Zia

Asia Society Texas Center (ASTC) welcomes Ruth Simmons, President of Prairie View A&M University and Helen Zia, activist and author of Asian American Dreams: The Emergence of an American People in a live webcast to launch the sixth year of the Bank of America Women’s Leadership Series. Entitled Building Black and Asian Solidarity: Women Leading Across Race, History, and Culture, the program explores the depth of Black and Asian American experiences in the U.S. and discuss overcoming racial conflict and division between communities.  The program is moderated by Juju Chang, Emmy Award-winning co-anchor of ABC News’ Nightline.
