Elves on the Run 5k

Sponsored by Calpine, the Elves on the Run 5k is Houston’s first night-time holiday run! Beginning on Saturday, Dec. 12, the Kids Race (1k for kids 12 and under) will begin at 6 p.m. and the 5k Run/Walk begins at 6:30 p.m. The course will start at the Heritage Society, 1100 Bagby, and head down Allen Parkway. Holiday music will play all the way to the finish at Sam Houston Park.

Benefiting Be An Angel, the race is open to both children and adults. Sponsorships include Presenting Sponsor - $20,000, Santa Sponsor - $10,000, Mrs. Claus Sponsorship $5,000 & Jingle Sponsor $2,500. The 5k registrants receive a shirt, a medal and admission into the Heritage Society Candlelight Tours of each of the houses, entertainment, Santa’s workshop for kids, an art market and more. Kid's Race includes one adult entry to the post-race festivities as well as a t-shirt and medal for any registered child 12 and under.
