Garlic Cheese Grits
From Houston Junior League Cookbook
Ingredients:
2 cups grits, cooked according to package directions
1 roll (6 oz.) garlic cheese
½ pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
½ cup butter
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon Tabasco
¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Paprika
Recipe directions:
Add garlic cheese, sharp Cheddar cheese, butter, eggs, Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce to grits. Mix well. Pour into large, shallow casserole dish. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. May be made earlier in the day and reheated before serving. Yield: serves 12
