Luna Pizzeria

Tucked away in an Upper Kirby strip center, Luna Pizzeria could be easy to miss if you didn’t know it was there. But once you do know, you’ll be glad you found this simple little neighborhood gem. Choose from six signature pies, or build your own. I like the basic cheese pizza. To the naked eye, the dough appears to be puffy and soft, but once you bite, you’ll discover that is actually crispy and thin, with a perfect ratio of the sauce and melted mozzarella cheese atop the crunchy crust. There is a small dine-in area, or call in to pick up your pizza creation. Along with pizza, Luna offers a nice selection of Italian sandwiches, cool salads and homemade desserts, including a light and fluffy tiramisu. Beer and wine are available at the counter.
