Houston Heart Walk
Over 40,000 Houstonians will lace up their sneakers this November to rally behind the American Heart Association’s fight against heart disease and stroke at the organization’s annual Houston Heart Walk. For the first time, the Houston Heart Walk will take place in the medical epicenter of Houston – the Texas Medical Center. The family-friendly event promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living while raising funds critical to supporting cardiovascular research and educational programs for the American Heart Association.
The Heart Walk is part of the Association’s My Heart. My Life Platform. The Houston Heart Walk is one of five walks the American Heart Association will host this fall in the Greater Houston area. To find a walk near you, please visit heart.org/hgcevents. To participate in the annual event, walkers can register online by visiting heart.org/hgcevents. As always, there is no registration fee, but donations are appreciated. Fundraisers who secure a minimum of $100 will receive a free event t-shirt.
The walk is open to the general public and teams are encouraged.
