Kids' Book Festival

Friends of the Houston Public Library is hosting its Kids' Book Festival on Sept. 10-11 at The Health Museum. Choose from more than 30,000 books, plus lots of CDs, DVDs and audiobooks - all $3 or less. Enjoy activities such as a Balloon Artist and Face Painter, writing activities and a raffle, a Storybook Costume Contest, tamales from the Texas Tamale Company, storytelling, and much more.
