The beat goes on
While David Ronn’s day job is an attorney, on March 4 he was a rocker for Backspace Goes to the Movies to raise more than $32,000 for Child Advocates. He portrayed Dr. Frank-N-Furter from the Rocky Horror Picture Show and John Travolta from Saturday Night Fever, among others, as he belted out familiar songs while playing his guitar. Movie clips were on the background screen as the band played cinema songs at White Oak Music Hall. Fans, including wife Ann Ronn and teen children Gabrielle and Ahava (Netanya was not present), waved super-sized color-changing glow sticks to the beat. Don’t miss the next annual show in 2018. Other band members were Dahl Thompson, Nick and Barbara Ann Grimmer, Chris Payne, Jeff Dehner, Steve Daum and Heidi Massin.
