MFAH: Jazz on Film
The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, presents the fifth edition of Jazz on Film. Returning guest curator Peter Lucas will be organizing the event.
The screenings start off with the 1958 film "I Want to Live!" The film’s score by Johnny Mandel features West Coast jazz players including Jack Sheldon, Frank Rosolino, Bill Holman, Red Mitchell, and Shelly Manne.
The MFAH will be showing more films throughout the month of June.
