Run, Brian, run
Brian Williams (pictured, at left, with his son, Vitaliy Williams) accomplished a life goal 33 years after he set it. The Bunker Hill resident has run at least one marathon in each of the 50 states. In July, he completed the Big Sky Marathon in Montana, his last state. Along the way, he was supported by friends and family who showed up to run alongside him. He used his final marathon as a fundraiser for Comp-U-Dopt, raising over $5,000 for the organization, which has donated approximately 10,000 computers to children in the Houston area. Brian’s next goal is to run a marathon on each of the continents.
