City of Bellaire’s Pre-National Night Out

Join the City of Bellaire for “The Road to Recovery Celebration” this Friday night, 6-9 p.m. at Bellaire Town Square. Honor Bellaire first responders, get to know the Bellaire Police Department, Fire Department, Public Works and Bellaire City Staff, enjoy live music by The Klocks and a community celebration, and register your home for National Night Out.

Hidden Figures at Discovery Green

For a fun movie night outdors, head to Discovery Green, which will be showing Hidden Figures, an incredible, inspiring true story about three women at NASA who were instrumental in the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit. Games and activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and the film begins at 8 p.m.

Astros vs. Angels

Now that the Astros have clinched their title in the American League West and secured a spot in the playoffs, fans can go out and show their support all weekend long at Minute Maid Park. The Astros will be playing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Friday through Sunday.

Market in the Park

Enjoy a beautiful day in Evelyn’s Park for Market in the Park this Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. There will be a collection of vendors with unique and exciting products. Enjoy being outdoors in the park while shopping.

2nd Annual Food Truck Festival

Sam Houston Race Park will be a hub for some of Houston’s top food trucks on Saturday starting at 1 p.m.. There will be plenty of good eats to choose from. The festival will also have fun kid-friendly activities and live performances from ’80s cover bands.

Kemah Craft Beer Fest

Head down to the boardwalk this weekend for a fun day of live music and to sample more than 72 craft beers.
