The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Texas Gulf Coast Chapter will kick off its second annual Students of the Year campaign on Jan. 25. Anson Moore, (pictured, at left), a sophomore at Second Baptist School, will be participating in this year’s campaign. Also pictured (from left) at the 2017 Student of the Year campaign are Nick Stefanakis, Lillyana Stefanakis, Jenee Stefanakis and John Womble. The campaign is a seven-week initiative in which nominated high school students, or teams of 2-3 students, participate in a fundraising competition to benefit LLS. Anson helped his cousin, Lillyana, win the title “Student of the Year” in 2017. Apply or nominate someone at studentseries.org.
