Breakfast Book Club: "My Beautiful Birds" by Suzanne Del Rizzo

The Friends of the Boniuk Library invite you to join our Breakfast Book Club for a discussion of "My Beautiful Birds" by Suzanne Del Rizzo. This children's book tells the story of Sami who, living in a refugee camp, can't forget his pet pigeons and the home his family has left behind. One day a canary, a dove, and a rose finch fly into his camp. They flutter around Sami and settle on his outstretched arms. For Sami it is one step in a long healing process at last.
